How To: Hard Reset Samsung Omnia i910

Please make sure to backup needed data before performing a hard reset as all data will be deleted

Hard Reset
1.    Tap Main Menu
2.    Tap Settings
3.    Tap Memory
4.    Tap Hard Reset
5.    Tap Yes
6.    Enter Lock Code (last 4 of telephone number)
7.    Tap Yes

Hard Reset

1. Turn the Droid off. If it won’t turn off, take the battery out then place it back in.
2. Open the keyboard and press the X key while pressing and holding Power. The device will power on. Keep holding the buttons down until a yellow triangle appears.
3. Press the Camera and Volume Up buttons at the same time to get to the menu. (I had to press them several times).
4. Use the direction pad to the right of the keyboard to select the Format option.

  2. When Desktop manager opens click Back up and Restore
  3. If data is on phone click Back up Data
  4. When back up is complete click Restore Phone

  2. Click on Security Options
  3. Click On Security Wipe
  4. Enter "blackberry" to confirm Wipe
 3rd Method (applies to Pearl 8100/8110/8120/8130/8220/ Curve8300/8310/8320/8330/8520/8800/8820/8830/8900/9500/9530/ Storm 9630)
 
Hard Reset (through Phone)
  1. Open Menu and click Options
  2. Click Security Options 
  3. Click Gerneral Setting
  4. Click Menu & choose Wipe Handheld
      If you didn't back up or data previously or have and earlier back up your phone will be completely erased to factory settings

    1. Locate the Reset button along the right edge of the phone just below the camera button.

    1st Method:

    To Perform a Hard/Master Reset:

    1. Press Start
    2. Scroll to and Select System Tools
    3. Scroll to and Select either Master Reset or Master Clear
    4. Press Yes (Left Soft Key) when Alert appears
    5. Enter Master Code (normally 000000)

    2nd Method:

    Here is a way to do a Master Reset on Motorola Q phones that cannot access the standard Master Reset method:

    1. Power off the Q
    2. Press and Hold the Center Select Key, while Powering up the phone
    3. The MASTER RESET screen will appear
    4. Press Yes
    5. This will restore the phone to factory settings
